With the continuous support from His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, for the cultural heritage of the country, his directions which showed his great interest and the importance of archaeology to the history of the United Arab Emirates showing its great role in the history of the area. Thus, the concerned and authorised parties concentrated all their efforts to survey, investigate and search all the archaeological sites to obtain more information on the ancient cultures of the country.

The archaeological experts succeeded, till now, in many of the discoveries with an encouraging infrastructure of research possibilities and data supplies which show the importance of the United Arab Emirates in the history and cultures of this area.

These archaeological discoveries stand as an evidence to the existence of a modern and advanced culture between 5th late 3rd millennium BC. Also, the archaeological pottery, stone, metal artefacts, tombs, burials and chambers extended the knowledge that the area has lived an advanced ancient human cultures.
