National Day

On 2nd December 1971, United Arab Emirates, was declared as a united state, and became one of the countries of the world.

The unity experiment of the United Arab Emirates is considered to be one of the most successful in Arab modern history.
The creation of this unity was based on the faith of the people of the state towards their unity which gained its continuity from the glorious achievements accomplished during the reign of unity which extended to the last twenty years whether internally or externally. During this reign, the wise leadership of the state, established the original Arabic and Islamic traditions.
These achievements could be seen in agriculture, industry, university, roads, airports, sea ports, education, health, culture and the internal ,feelings of the people of United Arab Emirates.

His Highness Sheikh Zared Bin Sultan Al Nahyan emphasized this when he said: "The human-being is the basic element for all progress and he is the real wealth of United Arab Emirates".
