The 1st Ann. of the Emirates Airlines

The Commercial Airlines Transportation is considered to be as one of the main basic means for the development and promotion of the economic and social life, beside its important and essential part to achieve the national and civilized achievements for any civilized country in the world. The Air- lines companies carrying the national flags are considered as a symbol of independence, dignity and friendship between the different nations.

The Emirates Airlines was founded in 25th of October 1985 with the blessing of His Highness The President of the United Arab Emirates, which was a great event to maintain all these noble meanings.
The name and the symbol of the Emirates Airlines shows the unity of the United Arab Emirates and announce to the world the born of a new age and advanced stage of economical, social and civilized development in the country.
The Emirates Airlines started her service by the routes to Bombay, Delhi and Karachi using Airbus 300-A and Boeing 737 -300 crafts. In April 1986, Boeing 727 crafts joined the fleet of the company which enable her to extend her service by adding other routes to Cairo, Colombo and Amman.

 

Now, Emirates Airlines, trying to find some other kinds of crafts that enable her to fulfil all present and future needs. In the coming few days a new agreement will be signed for the purchasing of new crafts which will join the Emirates Airlines fleet before summer which is the target date for the operation of the routes to London and other European countries.
