Abu Dhabi International Fair

Abu Dhabi International Fair 1991 will be held under the sponsorship of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed AI Nahyan during the period from 16/1/1991 to 26/1/1991. The Fair is organised by the cooperation of Exhibition High Committee, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the administration of Brussels Inter- national Fair.

14 countries will participate in this Fair which are: Canada, Belgium, France, China, USSR, Bangladesh, Egypt, Algeria, Turkey, Tunisia, Portugal, Pakistan, Poland, Cyprus plus Indian Tourism Office and United Arab Emirates. The reserved area to be occupied by these countries is 6482 square meters. More countries are expected to participate such as : Jordan, Libya, Morocco, Syria, Thailand, Indonesia, Hungary, Mexico, Germany and Spain which means the increase of the occupied area by about 1700 square meters.

Abu Dhabi International Fair 1991, is considered as the first international fair organised in Gulf Cooperation Countries which will be held in order to serve the businessmen in the fields of trade and industry and also to make out of Abu Dhabi, the capital of United Arab Emirates, a link point for the exchange of experience and transfer of high technology between all countries of the east, west, north and south.
