On 2nd December 1986, United Arab Emirates will celebrate the 15th anniversary as an independent, sovereign Arab state. Like this day, in 1971, United Arab Emirates became the 18th Member of the Arab League and 132nd Member of the United Nations Organization to keep pace with the Arabic Convoy in it's march towards it's noble goals; to stand by it's Arabic and Islamic cases; and to confirm it's direction of policy based on depending the friendship and cooperation with all friendly governments and peoples according to the United Nations charter and international agreements.

United Arab Emirates is located at the Middle of the Arabian Gulf Area surrounded from the North and Northwest by the Arabian Bay; from the West with Qatar and Saudi Arabia; from the South with Sultanate of Oman and Saudi Arabia; from the East with Oman Bay and sultanate of Oman.
During the past years, the country efforts were directed towards the progress, construction and building of the state. These efforts were basically concentrated to accomplish glorious works to the benefits of the people in order to provide them with the best services available. This was achievedin a very short time compared with the march of civilization progress in other countries.
