Since the spread of the courageous Palestinian uprising on the 2nd of last December, it gained the acceptance and support of His Highness the President, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan AI Nahyan, his brother His Highness the Vice President, Head of Council of Ministers, Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed AI Maktoum and their brothers the members of the Supreme Council, Rulers of the Emirates. 

Coping with the official and popular role of the United Arab Emirates, the General Postal Authority decided to issue a stamp to contribute in the efforts of gaining support to the flaming uprising in Jerusalem and all other Palestinian towns. This is to ensure that the Palestinian issue and its support comes on top of the United Arab Emirates priorities together with its firm obligation towards all the national issues
