Conceived and implemented in 1996 under the directives of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Defence Minister, Dubai Shopping Festival has not only helped in revitalizing the retails trade and tourism industry but has become an icon of a commercial and entertainment extravaganza, luring millions of tourists year after year.
"Now in its 10th years, DSF 2005 promises to be more exciting as it marks a decade of success with a rich line-up of promotions and amazing prizes. To commemorate the occasion, Emirates Post, in collaboration with the DSF Organizing Committee has issued a special set of commemorate stamps in the following denominations: 50 fils, 125 fils, 275 fils, and 375 fils. |
