34th National Day in the Eyes of Children

The United Arab Emirates celebrates its National Day on 2nd December every year. This is the right occasion for the people to express their love and gratitude for HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed AI Nahyan, President of the UAE, and send their good wishes for carrying out his responsibilities of taking the UAE forward along the path laid down by his father, the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan AI Nahyan, and his Brothers, the Members of the Supreme Council of the Emirates.

Emirates Post organized a children's painting competition to commemorate the UAE National Day, in association with the UAE Ministry of Education. The competition, under the title "34th National Day in the Eyes of Children" was designed to allow children to express their spontaneous feelings on the National Day. Based on this, the idea of organizing a drawing competition for children emerged to give them an opportunity for introducing their skills on this event.

Emirates Post has issued a set of commemorative stamps in four denominations featuring the winning entries as follows:

Student Shaimaa Mohammed AI Halabi (12 Years) Fadwa Tuqan Basic School-Abu Dhabi (Fils 50)

Student Muaz Jamal Ahmed Hassan (12 Years) Abu Ayoub AI Ansari Basic School-Sharjah (Fils 125)

Student Pithani Srinidhi (9 Years) Delhi Private School-Sharjah (Fils 275)

Student Una Abu Baker Mukhtar (10 Years) National Charity Private School-Ajman (Fils 375)
