12th GCC Postage Stamp Exhibition - UAE 2006

In conjunction with the UPU Strategy Conference in the UAE, Emirates Post and Emirates Philatelic Association (EPA), under the patronage of Federation of Inter-Asian Philately (FlAP), will hold the 12th GCC Stamp Exhibition and the 19th Asian Stamp Exhibition from 13th -16th November 2006 at Airport Expo Dubai, to promote philately in the region.

Organizing such exhibitions is considered a confirmation at the importance of cooperation among GCC countries to exchange different ideas and postal experiences, as well as the latest trends. This event will also help to develop and encourage philately which plays an educational role, especially among youth and school children.

Furthermore, the exhibition will provide an opportunity for stamp collectors from GCC countries to exchange new ideas as well as modern technology used in the world of stamps. This indirectly assists in the promotion and development of the cultural and artistic abilities of philatelists.
