Since founding the United Arab Emirates, Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak - Chairman of the Family Development Foundation - President of the General Women's Union, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, dedicated herself to serve the UAE society, and sought to develop the society at all levels, cultural, social and political. 

Thanks to the efforts of Her Highness, the most important characteristic of the march of women led by Her Highness is that the woman in the UAE has always been keen to achieve a balance between all the elements of modern development and preserving the teachings of our Islamic religion, authentic Arab traditions and fulfill the primary responsibility of women, a responsibility towards her family and children.
