The United Arab Emirates Organises the 14th FIQ World Tenpin Bowling Championship in Abu Dhabi during the period from 16/11-1/12/1999 at Khalifa International Bowling Center which is located at Zayed Sport City. The Bowling tournament is organised by Emirates Bowling Federation under the patronage of the International Bowling Federation with the participation of the best bowlers in the world.
Since the inauguration of the First UAE International Open Bowling Championship in 1997 and up to now, the UAE’s youth have accomplished excellent achievements by virtue of the material and moral support of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme commander of UAE Armed Forces, which has made the UAE Bowling assume a leading position in Asia and the World.
