Al Ahmadiya School was the first semi-regular school in the Emirate of Dubai, which played a major role in the history of education in the coastal emirates and Dubai.
Build in 1912 it was founded by Sheikh Ahmed Bin Dalmouk who died before the completion of the building, and then his son Sheikh Mohammed Bin Ahmed Bin Dalmouk completed the construction. He named the school Al Ahmadiya in memory of this father. He was the advisor of the school. He brought in a group of teachers from Saudi Arabia, namely Sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Hamad Al Mubarak and his sons Sheikh Abdullah and Sheikh Abdul Latif to teach religion and Arabic Language.
In 1920 Sheikh Mohammed Bin Ahmed Bin Dalmouk brought in an elite group of teachers from Iraq: Sheikh Abdulla Bin Abdul Wahab Al Waheeb, Sheikh Ahmed Al Arfaj, Sheikh Nasir Al Mansour and Sheikh Yousuf Al Jami.
Al Ahmadiya School reflects the history of Education (the beginnings and stages of development) in the UAE in general and Dubai in particular, and includes various presentations such as: history of Al Ahmadiya School, education in the UAE, traditional writing tools, traditional classroom, photos, student certificates and historical documents.
Al Ahmadiya School is located at Al Ras area of Deira.
