In order to express our pride and appreciation for the sacrifices of the UAE heroes who gave their lives to serve their country, and to foster participation on the national occasion of the first Commemoration Day, the Emirates Post Group in cooperation with the Martyrs’ Families’ Affairs Office (MFAO) is proud to launch the first postage stamp issued in memory of our national heroes. 

This stamp represents the values of respect, appreciation, honour, courage and loyalty, and highlights the pride and glory of the United Arab Emirates in the sacrifices of the heroes from all sectors in the country, led by the UAE Armed Forces.
