25th Anniversary of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights

The United Nations celebrates it 25th anniversary the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on 10 December 1973. To commemorate the occasion the Ministry of communications, General Post Office Department, United Arab Emirates, issue a set of three stamps as illustrated. 

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is one of the greatest records of the modern world. And the 25th anniversary of the Declaration is an opportunity to express our hopes that all individuals in this world will gain their civil and political freedoms, and that they be free of fear and poverty and that they enjoy peaceful, prosperous, ever progressing life.
