The Food and Agriculture Organisation of the I United Nations (F.A.O.) was established in 1945. The activities of the organisation have been concentrated broadly in the fields of land and water development on the continuos basis of production of live-stock:, fishery, forestry, food security, nutrition and rural development.
The organisation supports the technical cooperative activities among the developing countries which aim to achieve most of the agricultural and rural developments depending on their own resources.
The Organisation, also, encourages the countries to start their collective efforts in order to gain the best out of their available manpower in the technical fields and also their financial resources.
