The Emirates Philatelic Association (EPA) participated in the "SINGPEX 2019” - 36 International Stamp Exhibition held from 30 July – 4 August 2019. The exhibitors from 26 Asian and Australasian countries participated in the show.
EPA participants in exhibition won a number of laurels for their entries. His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr won Large Gold medal and special prize for his exhibit "The Cancellations and Postal History of Muscat 1830-1948" and he was nominated for Grand Prix International candidate.
Mr. Ahmad bin Eisa Alserkal won Gold medals for his exhibits "Abu Dhabi Stamps 1963-1973" and large vermeil for “Postal History Study of Airmail from Iraq 1919-1945”.
Mr. Saeed Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi won Vermeil medal for his exhibit “UAE Stamps”, Mr. Nasser Bin Ahmad Al Serkal won Vermeil medal for "Dubai Stamps". Dr. Osman Mutaz won Silver medal for his literature exhibit “Postal History of the UAE” and in youth class exhibits Mr. Adithya Sarma won Bronze medal for his exhibit "Conserve Wild Life".
Mr Ali Abdulrahman Ahmad was National Commissioner. The organizer invited Mr. Muhammad Javaid as jury from the United Arab Emirates.
The UAE also participated in 22nd Congress of the Federation of Asian International Federation (FIAP) held during the exhibition.
