Arab Deaf Child Week

Under the topic (Care from Deafness), United Arab Emirates will celebrate, during the period from (20th to 27th April 1992), the 17th Deaf Child Week with the coordination of all organisations of the Arab World associated with deafness care and under the supervision of Sharjah Human Services Society, which is a charity society mainly aiming to give care and professionalism to the handicaps by using the most advanced educational and technical methods adopted in the world operated by specialists in this field. 

United Arab Emirates support the expansion and development of the methods of deaf care and the importance of their culture and education in order to enable them to continue their role in life and work. Also, ensuring the rights of the deaf child by providing the opportunities for education and professionalism in order to be equal in rights and duties with the normal human beings and to participate in the development of his society and country.
