This tournament has become the showcase for unique football skills from young stars and has spotlighted names like Maradona, Boban, Suker and many other football stars. 

On Thursday, 27th November, 2003, at 8.30 p.m., the entire world's eyes will be focused on the United Arab Emirates, specifically on the Zayed Sports City Stadium, as the first whistle marks the kickoff of the 4th Youth Mondial on Arab soil and the third Youth Mondial held within the Arab Peninsula, after the Saudi Arabia Championship (1989) and Qatar Championship (1995). The UAE championship will consist of 52 matches played during a three week period and spread across six stadium.  

In this event, there will be 24 teams from different football schools, including Bmzil, Argentina, England, Germany and other prominent icons of the game. Football fans around the globe will be anticipating a feast of remarkable skills from future football stars.

The United Arab Emirates opens its arms wide to welcome teams from our brotherly and friendly countries with traditional Arab hospitality, love and harmony, through this unique sporting even.

 

The FIFA World Youth Championship is the second major football tournament organized by the International Federation of Football Association (FIF A), the only official body governing foot- ball competitions throughout the world Huge media and mass interest have accompanied this tournament from the time it was first launched in Tunisia in 1977. Since then, it has become a global festival for international media and football fans alike.
